Your Role:
As a Music Education Instructor, you will cultivate an engaging and safe atmosphere for students to flourish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting music lessons for students across various ages and skill levels.
- Developing strong relationships with students and parents through effective communication, goal-setting, and progress tracking.
- Collaborating with store teams to schedule lessons and enhance student retention.
- Sharing your musical knowledge and insights to motivate students and support their development.
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a comparable experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in music teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees (Master's or Doctoral) in Music.
- Membership in professional teaching organizations or certifications.
- 8+ years of teaching experience, particularly with various instruments including but not limited to banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
