MARKETER SR - MARKETING DEPARTMENT role at Hoag Health System.

Primary duties and responsibilities for the Senior Marketer include owning and leading the marketing strategy for the assigned Health Institute, developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, and overseeing brand management, digital marketing, advertising, and market research for the Institute. The role applies extensive marketing experience to deliver successful core marketing campaigns and aligns initiatives with Enterprise marketing goals. It drives growth strategies to deliver qualified leads to the Institute and conducts market research to gain insights into the specific needs of the Institute and the services provided.

Drive awareness and engagement by creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns across relevant demographics and all channels, including digital, social media, print, and events. Collaborate with medical professionals, researchers, and creatives to ensure marketing initiatives align with best practices. Develop and maintain a strong brand identity with consistent, compelling messaging. Lead the production of healthcare content (blogs, videos, infographics, social posts) and provide strategic direction for campaigns. Leverage data and analytics to track campaign effectiveness, evaluate KPIs, and optimize strategies. Stay up to date with trends and identify new opportunities. Mentor the team, provide guidance, and collaborate with external partners, healthcare organizations, and community groups.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage short and long-lead Institute content calendars.
  • Analyze performance, determine channel and social strategy for optimal performance across platforms, and produce high-quality regular reporting.
  • Identify and manage implementation of new social content opportunities; maintain real-time control of all social/web platforms and content narrative.
  • Grow awareness, engagement, and content syndication by identifying opportunities with audiences through thought-leading digital and non-digital strategies.
  • Plan Institute event content capture and guide curators/writers content for publishing in real-time.
Qualifications
Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 710 years of experience in the marketing industry managing marketing channels and producing creative campaigns.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Portfolio highlighting key campaigns that drove results.
  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative and impactful marketing campaigns.

Preferred

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying complex healthcare information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decisions and optimize campaigns.
  • Experience in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing).
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
