We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer/Videographer to join our WSHES/FOS Learning Content Development team. This role is essential in capturing high-quality visual content that enhances technical documentation, training materials, and storytelling across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong eye for detail, composition, and lighting, and is comfortable working in both studio and field environments.
You will report into the Manager of Training Development
Responsibilities/You will:
Capture and edit professional-quality photos and videos for use in training manuals, CBTs, and technical documentation.
Document mechanical systems, show-ready conditions, and attraction rehabs.
Collaborate with the Instructional Design team to produce engaging training content.
Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and track progress using internal tools.
Maintain and organize media storage using metadata and SharePoint.
Travel as needed, including international assignments.
Operate and maintain professional photography and videography equipment.
Ensure compliance with Disney safety standards and procedures.
Basic Qualifications/You will have:
Proven experience in photography and videography with a strong portfolio.
Ability to work any day and any shift, with sometimes little to no notice.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects).
Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of Cast, including executives.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working in varied lighting and environmental conditions.
Physically able to carry equipment, walk long distances, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Macintosh OS.
Experience with GoPros, surveillance systems, and SLR cameras.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience documenting technical procedures and maintenance practices.
Ability to create and update storyboards, project estimates, and budgets.
Knowledge of Disney safety protocols, including fall protection, LOTO, and PPE.
Training in scaffold use, high-reach equipment, and confined space procedures.
Experience with ride systems, show elements, and character development documentation.
