About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP for Advertising and eCommerce Partnerships to lead and inspire a team dedicated to driving commerce revenue and advertising sales growth. This executive will be responsible for both the merchandising and advertising sales teams, with a direct focus on mid-eight figure sales revenue and a target of double-digit annual growth. The role demands a hands-on growth mindset, with the EVP expected to be deeply involved in eCommerce strategy, ad sales growth, CRO experimentation, and merchandising. Key responsibilities include architecting and executing high-impact digital and newsletter ad sales strategies, leading the design and development of advertising products, and leveraging data analytics to optimize campaign performance. The successful candidate will also be tasked with driving revenue through best-in-class merchandising approaches, overseeing merchant partnerships, and championing the company's own storefront and commerce initiatives. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of executive leadership experience in advertising, eCommerce, and marketplace operations, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful teams. The ideal EVP will have a strong innovation mindset, extensive experience in contract negotiation, and a demonstrated ability to manage ad sales teams in a results-driven environment. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills are essential. The role requires a leader who can not only manage but also actively contribute to the growth of the business, with a focus on driving aggressive growth and owning the numbers. The EVP will be expected to represent the company at industry events and in relevant advertising and commerce communities, and to ensure that advertising and merchandising strategies are integrated to maximize profitability and customer engagement.
