About the Role

Light and Well is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator & Video Editor who is fluent in DaVinci Resolve and passionate about storytelling through short-form content.

This is a strategic and creative position for someone who understands how to plan, capture, and edit content that actually performs. You’ll work closely with our founder to storyboard content, edit high-converting videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, and contribute to the visual direction of the brand.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and storyboard short-form content around floristry, weddings, event design, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Edit high-performing Reels and TikToks using DaVinci Resolve, with a strong sense of pacing, hooks, and brand alignment
• Integrate on-trend music, transitions, and captions to boost engagement
• Provide creative direction and ideation for new series and campaigns
• Coordinate remote shoots and assemble footage into polished edits
• Repurpose content for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency
• Suggest and test visual and engagement tactics based on social media analytics

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record managing or contributing to highly engaging social media accounts (portfolio required)
• Expertise in DaVinci Resolve
• Experience with video planning, storyboarding, and content ideation
• Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram best practices, trends, and hooks
• Ability to work independently and meet fast-paced deadlines
• Bonus: experience with florals, weddings, interior design, or lifestyle content

Bonus Qualities:

• Strong eye for aesthetics and a refined, minimal, editorial visual style
• Experience scripting voiceovers or creating storytelling sequences
• Familiarity with Notion, Google Drive, or project management tools
• Comfortable working from brand guidelines and adapting to seasonal campaigns
