This position leads the media department to support all aspects of the production of The Drenda Show TV program, the Fixing the Money Thing television program, and supports the video needs of Faith Life Church. The Media Director is responsible for the overall quality, concept, and final budget of media projects to ensure goals and objectives are met.
Responsibilities Lead the staff in editing TV programs, produce CTAs for TV programs to promote a product or call to action, creatively produce promo spots for the TV program, ensure quality control of the program and brand.
Manage all aspects of technical production for filming church services, studio tapings, and off-site locations (video, media, lighting, sound).
Develop new show content and formats.
Implement processes and systems to efficiently meet deadlines. Bring production experience, creativity, and idea generation to drive engagement.
Understand operating cameras, lighting, and editing.
Translate ideas into visuals through video, music, and graphics.
Oversee the production of special videos for church events and services.
Oversee the team of church volunteers and current paid staff in the media department.
Write effective copy for CTAs and other spots.
Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs.
Manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet business objectives and advance brand strategy.
Collaborate with the production team and key vendor partners to develop concepts and present them to management.
Provide quality control over concepts and projects.
Assist with brainstorming concepts for new shows, product offers, product titles, and products.
Provide creative input and direction for studio set design, show open, lower-third graphics, and website redesigns.
Produce testimonial vignettes and special segments for TV shows.
Minimum Required Qualifications College degree or equivalent work experience. A minor or area of concentration in film or broadcast production is helpful.
Proficient in Premiere, Final Cut, or other similar editing software.
3+ years of experience in TV broadcast production or equivalent in video production, producing content for television, internet programming, or similar production, demonstrating creative and logistical aptitude in concept development, writing, art direction, scheduling, estimating, producing, and editing. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Manual dexterity to use hands and operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, etc.).

Able to stand for up to seven hours per day in varying temperatures.
Able to travel as needed, generally no longer than 10 days at a time several times per year for special projects.
Work in office, studio, and remote production environments; long hours and flexible schedule may be required.
