Overview
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED, TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED, THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD.
All Points is seeking a Top Secret Cleared UI/UX Designer Senior level to support the FBI in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an active, current, and fully adjudicated US Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. This position is contingent upon contract award (expected October 2025).
The selected candidate will support IT networks, systems, and initiatives with activities that include information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security. The team you will join is also responsible for the development, implementation, and subsequent operations and maintenance of new applications each fiscal year. The operation of existing applications and new application initiatives are critical to the success of the FBI mission. Additionally, thousands of personnel in the law enforcement, intelligence, legal, and administrative communities use these services daily to perform mission-critical work. These applications require responsive, effective, and specialized technical expertise to limit disruption to FBI operations.
Duties
- Works with the development team to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces.
- Works across case management development teams to provide a consistent look and feel.
- Reviews users experience feedback and adjusts accordingly.
- Works with users to understand use cases.
- Updates and maintains style guides.
- Works with the development teams to ensure 508 compliant designs.
- Works with the development teams on responsive designs based on current best practices.
- Oversees all visual design efforts. Guides, mentors, and coaches team members while leading projects to successful completion.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key peers in Marketing, Branding, UX leaders, IT leaders, and others to identify and plan creative solutions.
- Manages external service resources and budgets for visual design.
- Ensures successful completion of all work executed by the team (on time, on budget, and ensuring quality).
- Ensures compliance with the project management methodologies and the Project Management Office processes and standards.
- Develops, maintains, and ensures compliance of application release management, outage management, and change control processes and standards.
- Defines, creates, communicates, and manages resource plans and other required project documentation such as style guides and provides updates, as necessary.
- Develops proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy-to-navigate user interfaces (UIs) that consists of web pages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that are visually appealing. Research user needs as well as potential system enhancements.
- Has familiarity to, or may actually: code, test, debug documents, and implement web applications using a variety of platforms.
- Plans, recruits, and facilitates the usability testing of a system.
- Analyzes and synthesizes the results of usability testing to provide recommendations for change to a system.
- Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for complex data analysis and visualization tools
- Work with development teams to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces
- Ensure consistent look and feel across case management development teams
- Review user experience feedback and implement improvements
- Develop and maintain style guides and design systems
- Implement responsive designs based on current best practices
- Ensure 508 compliance for all user interfaces
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between UI and data services
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop user flows and journey maps to optimize the user experience
SAFe 6.0 Facilitation Support
Summary: Responsible for guidance and facilitation of SAFe Principles. Plan and manage the work, and values to uphold while promoting alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of agile teams, currently aligned in two Agile Release Trains. The first aligns teams to focus on enabling operational insight by increasing data discoverability through enterprise search or query. The second aligns teams to focus on enabling the operational analysis and triage of data through visualization, enrichments, and analytics within Global Mission Analytics (GMA).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

- Available to work after hours when mission requires
- Communicate work using SMART
Security Clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Active, current, and fully adjudicated (no interim) US Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. May be required to take CI Polygraph.
