Position Summary: The Southern Regional Extension Forestry (SREF) Office within the Warnell College of Forestry and Natural Resources seeks a highly responsible IT professional to work on a variety of forestry & natural resource outreach IT products, on a small, nimble team. The person will design, develop, and maintain custom client-centric web-based applications, with strong object-oriented development and problem-solving skills.

Duties/Responsibilities
Function as a full-stack Plone CMS developer including: brainstorm IT solutions, define scope and requirements, document design, develop code, deployment, testing, and lifecycle management of these systems. Work with SREF staff & clients to implement purpose-driven websites. Consult with clients to assess data requirements and processing specifications. Ensure the technology environment is secure and meets UGA security policies. Develop and support other web technologies, such as WordPress.

Work closely with SREF staff, clients, and partners in the maintenance and support of hosted web applications and IT systems. Provide client support (and end-user web support), content management, and propose driven application modifications to support client needs.
