We currently have an opportunity for a Producer Resource Coordinator.
This position encompasses three main components: Administrative Sales Support functions; Education & Technical Learning and Ongoing Mentoring.
Responsibilities
Administrative Sales Support
- Partner with a Producer to handle administrative tasks that support the sales process, with the main goal of increasing efficiency and productivity so producers can focus on selling.
- Interact internally with departments such as Accounting, Marketing and Service across HUB’s national footprint.
- Onboarding: be trained on systems and where to go for support during the process.
- Provide ongoing assistance to colleagues using sales tools and resources, including:
- Be a proficient user of MS Dynamics CRM (CORE) and HUB’s revenue tracking system EPIC for managing the Producer’s pipeline of opportunities.
- Manage and monitor the Producer dashboard and revenue tracking from various payment sources across P&C, Benefits and Broker Dealer, and between HUB regions.
- Manage the HUB region-to-region handshake, prepare monthly reports, and perform ad hoc marketing tasks related to sales and marketing presentations (e.g., RFP support and presentation support).
- As training progresses, assist with insurance forms, client data collection, invoicing, and tracking revenue until it is verified complete.
- Assist with organizing and attending Producer meetings as appropriate; take notes and participate, with responsibility for client and prospect follow-up under supervision.
- Report progress to the CSO and Producer periodically, and discuss changes to support growth trajectory.
- Research, recommend and implement special projects and initiatives such as prospect research using web tools, LinkedIn and Sutton Place (online CRM of private equity deals).
- Collaborate with HUB colleagues on all aspects of sales enablement and establish positive working relationships internally and externally to achieve goals.
- Support additional sales functions as they arise; occasional off-hour work may be required with a commitment to work-life balance.
Education & Technical Learning
At HUB, knowledge and education support employee development. Training will include HUB-sponsored sessions to learn the technical aspects of commercial insurance, plus ad hoc external opportunities sponsored by partner carriers.
- Within the first six (6) months, obtain your Property & Casualty License, including training and exam preparation.
- Seek additional work projects to enhance understanding of insurance, including ad hoc projects or third-party programming.
- Engage with HUB specialists (e.g., Management Liability, Cyber, Workers’ Compensation) and explore Health & Benefits and Retirement Planning to understand related issues.
