Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop and engineer the physical fulfillment and transportation systems around the globe through site layout, equipment specification, material flow, process design, and intellectual property considerations. Duties include innovating with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and mechatronics across multiple new fulfillment and transportation centers that are being built each year. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time. Simultaneously manage multiple high visibility projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects.

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) ownership/management of engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment used in warehouse and logistics industry; and (2) experience using business/technical software including MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Up to 25% domestic and international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.
