Metrie Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Promotions

Vancouver, BC Metrie, a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of millwork products, has announced a series of leadership promotions aimed at strengthening its strategic direction. These appointments span marketing, sales, finance, and corporate strategy, reflecting the companys commitment to growth and leadership development.

Marketing Leadership Expansion
Christian MacDonald has been promoted from VP, Marketing, to the newly established position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). A 25-year Metrie veteran, MacDonald has led various divisions, including Metrie Retail, before transitioning to marketing leadership. In his new role, he will continue to drive customer-focused strategies through market insights, innovation, and product development. With MacDonalds promotion, Nicole Rocheleau has stepped into the role of VP, Marketing. Rocheleau, who joined Metrie in 2022, has been instrumental in enhancing customer insights and brand positioning.

Sales and Business Leadership Updates
Kevin Bartel has officially taken on the role of VP & GM, US, after leading Metries US Pro business, including its recently acquired California-based operations, EL & EL and Anderco. With 22 years at Metrie, Bartel previously led the Western US Pro business and the manufacturing channel sales team. Jon Dickinson, another long-time Metrie leader, has been named VP, Sales. Dickinson, who has experience managing national accounts in Canada and leading Metries US Pro business, is now focused on a long-term sales excellence review.

Strategic and Financial Leadership Enhancements
Elise Osier, VP, Strategy & Planning, has taken on an expanded role that includes leadership of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. She will report to Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Black. Meanwhile, Kate Vondette has been promoted to VP, Corporate Controller. Since joining Metrie two years ago, Vondette has contributed significantly to the companys financial strategy and organizational development.
