Responsibilities
Lead strategic Marketing and Sales for Transformer Insulation & Components, in alignment with GPG / BU strategy. Define, develop and translate mid-to-long term strategy into concrete marketing & sales actions, initiatives, and programs, with segmentation and go-to-market approaches.
Continuously monitor leads, opportunity, and pipeline generation. holistically oversee Insulation & Components marketing and sales strategy implementation, including boost programs, market coverage, and product-line sales plans by product, geography, segment, and accounts.
Ensure sales training, competences and processes and tools to drive customer service levels and customer experience.
Define, develop, and deploy M&S transformational growth initiatives, ensuring proactive mindset and effective set-up of customer-facing and support functions, including cross- and upsell capabilities.
Drive and support end-to-end digitalization initiatives; drive homologation efforts, account coverage and proactive positioning of the product portfolio.
Design and deploy M&S campaigns in Salesforce, social media, tradeshows, and exhibitions; regularly review market and technology trends and act as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Global Product Management, Sales, Operations, and R&D).
Build bridges within GMU and wider M&S community to exchange news, best practices, and success stories.
Drive organizational capability to manage key accounts and multi-year supply agreements; anticipate and respond to customer requirements and increase capability for lead generation, opportunity qualification, tendering and quotation at speed and scale.
Qualifications
University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; additional business degree is a plus.
Industry knowledge about component business, industrial goods, relevant business models, and demand drivers, including go-to-market and multi-channel approaches.
More than 7 years of experience in Electrification, Transformers, Sales & Marketing, Product Management in an international / global environment.
Ability to build relationships and external partnerships; creative and result-oriented, self-driven business leader with strong analytical, reasoning, problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent influencing, relationship, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to translate customer needs into commercial and portfolio activities.
Work experience in different countries and cultures; willingness to travel 10-30% of the time.
