We are seeking a visionary, creative Account Manager with 5+ years of experience in growing teams and delighting clients. You will lead 3 to 4 teams, developing high-level strategy with clients and executing media, influencer and social programs. Strong writing skills, deep knowledge of the technology industry and proficiency with digital and social channels are essential. Technology background and established relationships with consumer tech media are preferred. Key Responsibilities
Media / Influencer Relations Develop and maintain strong relationships with business, broadcast and influencer media; guide staff to do the same Plan and execute social media strategies to support programs Engage media through ongoing activities (e.g., blog Q&A, lunch talks) Measure the ROI of communications activities Manage influencer engagement, content campaigns and media coverage amplification Client Service / Management Manage PR programs from kickoff through goal achievement Set aggressive but achievable goals for news and coverage Provide exceptional client management and drive client success Navigate periods of change or challenge with clarity and confidence Maintain day-to-day client contact Develop budgets and team priorities; identify opportunities to increase budgets Lead media training sessions with clients and develop key messages Writing Proficiencies Generate and edit plans, press releases, fact sheets, bios, briefing books, contributed articles, pitches and related materials Maintain professional, timely client communication and develop creative pitches Agency Operations Maintain 2 direct reports; assist in goal setting, performance reviews and check-ins Participate in new business processes; identify targets and attend networking events Lead by example with a respectful, enthusiastic attitude; support teams and manage up and down Adhere to flexible work policies Contribute to Highwire social channels; write for the Highwire blog Mentor junior staff to elevate development Highwire Perks
