This position offers the unique opportunity to combine your vision education expertise with cutting-edge virtual instruction methods. You'll work with students experiencing various visual impairments, creating accessible educational experiences that promote independence, academic growth, and confident technology usage. Core Duties
Provide specialized instruction in compensatory skills and techniques Deliver comprehensive braille instruction across all academic subjects Teach assistive technology usage and digital accessibility skills Adapt educational materials for visual accessibility and engagement Coordinate orientation and mobility concept instruction Collaborate with families to support independent home learning Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inclusive programming Document student progress and maintain regulatory compliance Educational Services
Support students with varying degrees of visual impairment from elementary through secondary levels. Programming includes academic skill development, daily living instruction, social interaction facilitation, and career exploration designed to maximize student potential and self-determination. Technology Innovation
Work with state-of-the-art assistive technology platforms including screen reading software, braille translation systems, magnification tools, and specialized educational applications. Our virtual learning environment provides full accessibility while preparing students for real-world technology integration. Essential Qualifications
