In addition to teaching at a high level, the successful candidate may be asked to mentor undergraduate students as part of the school’s required internship program.Adherence to programmatic goals and curriculum objectives is required, as the school is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).## **Required Minimum Qualifications:*** Master’s degree in communications or a related field* Two years of professional experience in advertising, strategic communication, or a related field.## **Preferred Qualifications:*** Demonstrated professional experience beyond the required amount in advertising, strategic communication, or a related field;* Demonstrated knowledge in current and emerging industry technology;* Advising or mentoring experience;* Demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.## **Department/Program & College Description:**The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication has a dynamic ACEJMC-accredited undergraduate program and a strong master’s program. The school has undergraduate majors in advertising, journalism and mass communication, public relations, and sports media and communication.
