Overview
Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking an Instructional Graphic Design and Training Specialist to join their team. As a Training Specialist, you will be part of the Learning & Development department supporting manufacturing, quality, and support functions. The ideal candidate will have creativity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Instructional Graphic Design and Training Specialist
Location: Sanford, NC – onsite preferred, but open to remote EST
Pay Range: Target pay rate is $48 per hour
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement engaging training programs aligned with site and corporate goals.
- Create visually compelling training materials using graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or PowerPoint.
- Facilitate diverse training sessions including instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on floor training.
- Conduct training needs assessments and analyze gaps to prioritize learning initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training records within the Learning Management System (LMS) and support audit readiness through documentation.
What’s Needed? (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a training role.
- Proficiency with graphic design and content development tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements, adult learning principles, and training effectiveness models.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
