Overview
Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners is currently seeking applicants for AIDE II.
This is a full-time position in the Circulation Department at the Live Oak Public Library Branch of the Suwannee River Regional Library system. This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and communicative skills. Proven experience with computer software and knowledge of the Internet is required.
Responsibilities
- Public service functions including patron registration
- Assisting citizens with the location and use of library resources
- Performing community outreach
- Serving on various library planning teams
- A variety of technical library assignments and other clerical duties
Qualifications
- Requires graduation from a standard high school or its equivalent, supplemented by some training beyond high school in library science or related fields, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
