Front End Engineer II, Devices Brand Studio
Amazon Devices Brand Studio is seeking a Front End Engineer to join our Systems & Scale team. Our Brand Studio creates compelling digital assets that drive customer engagement across Amazon.com and retail stores for new device launches. This role focuses on developing innovative web-based tools, automation solutions, and AI-driven systems that revolutionize our design workflows.
Key job responsibilities
- Design Tool Integration: Build sophisticated Figma plugins and web-based tools that streamline design workflows
- AI-Powered Automation: Create intelligent tools and scripts for generating asset variations (localization, sizing, campaign materials)
- Dynamic Template Systems: Develop templates that automatically adapt based on input parameters
- Quality Assurance: Implement automated systems ensuring consistent asset quality and brand compliance
- Workflow Optimization: Build rule-based systems for asset request intake and intelligent prioritization
Data & Analytics
- Create comprehensive dashboards for production tracking and resource planning
- Develop data-driven insights to optimize team performance and resource allocation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with design and engineering teams to integrate tools with Figma, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Support operational excellence through proactive monitoring and maintenance of existing systems
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
AI & Innovation Focus
- Develop cutting-edge AI-powered automation solutions using AWS GenAI services
- Create and optimize prompt-driven development workflows
- Implement intelligent asset generation systems leveraging foundation models
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- Proficiency with TypeScript and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite)
- Experience optimizing and testing front-end performance at scale
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or other Generative AI services
- Experience implementing prompt-driven development workflows and integrating production AI services
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
