Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine The Director, Global Strategic Marketing, Daratumumab reports to the Sr. Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Daratumumab, and will be part of the team that drives forward our commercial strategy, including pre-launch readiness for our pivot trials (positioning, messaging etc.) and leads alignment against our global strategic priorities. Darzalex represents the company's largest asset and maintaining this leadership in myeloma represents a critical pillar in J&J success in the short and near future. This role will focus on developing strategies that drive adoption in front line myeloma as well as gaining access and usage based on our landmark trials, by collaborating with key functions across the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO), Research and Development (R&D), and the regions. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead commercial strategy in close collaboration with R&D and cross-functional teams, to optimize launch excellence against our pivotal trials

Leverage knowledge of the current and future market to provide insights for forecasting, strategic planning, and business planning in close collaboration with business analytics partners for competitive Intelligence, market research and forecasting.

Develop and deliver global positioning, marketing campaigns, and associated tactics, with crossregional and cross-functional alignment.

Coordinate with business partners to ensure strategic alignment and execution. Ensure have the right competitor insights and relevant strategies to compete.

Establish and deliver unique solutions to elevate customer experience.

Partner with Regions to develop, shape and implement commercial strategies, tactics, customer solutions and messaging.

Work closely with Medical Affairs to ensure robust publication plans and enduring/differentiating data generation and messaging.

Collaborate with Market Access to develop value propositions that support/bolster reimbursement and approvals globally for Perseus, Cepheus and other important trials

Support portfolio positioning and messaging work for Dara in 2L, in combination with our bispecifics

Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (Analytics, Finance, Competitive Intelligence, etc.) to develop differentiating value proposition and commercial forecast valuation models.

Demonstrate strong external focus by active engagement with key stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders and Patient Opinion Leaders.

Manage yearly brand budgets effectively and efficiently, partnering with third party agencies to deliver against both global and regional goals

The qualified candidate should be an agile teammate who is able to lead and contribute in cross-functional teams and in a multi-cultural environment, being capable of gaining alignment and drive decision making with regional teams on the commercial strategy, having the ability to understand, interpret and communicate commercial and competitive implications of technical/clinical/regulatory data. This individual has the capability to interact with R&D colleagues on scientific issues, demonstrating strong leadership presence through influencing without authority with high-level management and cross-functional partners. They will demonstrate attention to detail and excellent critical thinking. Qualifications: Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Postgraduate qualification, PhD, MBA, or other graduate degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

Experience and Skills: Required: A minimum of 10 years of dynamic experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.

A minimum of 3 years demonstrated in pre-launch & launch activities, in-line marketing, market access, marketing support, or sales management/training experience implementing marketing strategy is required.

An ability to handle multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and drive decision-making is required.

An ability to shape and drive asset strategy with R&D and cross-functional teams

Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, ability to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies and actions

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-geography

Proven track record of exceptional team & cross functional leadership

Strong executive, verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.

Preferred: Prior Oncology/Multiple Myeloma experience or scientific background is preferred.

Senior brand responsibility, product launch, experience in working with global or multi-cultural teams and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical development is preferred.

Significant international experience; specifically, previous working experience with different geographies; working knowledge of differing reimbursement markets is preferred.

Other: This position is based in Raritan, NJ and will require up to 25% domestic and international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $146,000-$251,850 Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
