What does a Content Manager do at Hogarth?
The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for managing various types of digital content in a web-based content management system to support world-class events and workshops in Retail stores. This role works with a team of producers and creatives, and will own the end-to-end publishing process from asset handoff, to upload, to staging, deployment, pre/post quality assurance and validation, and ongoing maintenance.
The role will also involve working collaboratively within the Content Management team and business units to support execution and validate test cases based upon system requirements and Globalization needs.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a faster learner, who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with quick turnarounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for publishing delivery of Client's Retail programs, as well as day-to-day publishing activities in the face of balancing competing business customers and constantly changing business priorities
Coordinate and plan multiple projects with efficiency and accuracy against tight timelines.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Educating the cross-functional teams on publishing process and requirements.
Supporting in Geo publishing teams
Report functional bugs to technical teams and partner with them for resolution.
Influence the direct evolution of publishing system feature sets. Help define requirements that promote scalability, smart publishing practices, and intuitive UI.
Participating in post-release analysis to identify wins and challenges. Carry findings forward to continually improve future project deliveries and execution.
Requirements:
5 years experience with digital content management and publishing tasks using content management systems (CMS)
Exceptional organization and communication skills
Experience with content localization and multi-geo publishing
An eye for aesthetics (ability to tell when something "looks right”)
Ability to manage multiple projects and project deadlines
Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems
Knowledge of Adobe CC suite and other industry-standard creative and media production tools’
Ability to creatively solve problems
Great interpersonal skills
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a sincere willingness to learn from team members at all levels
Must exhibit high degree of ownership and accountability
Knowledge of systems testing procedures, bug reporting, and systems QA tasks
Experience with development of Content Management Systems, from a Publishing/Content Manager function (not as a developer)
Developing processes for content publishing and management
