Junior Fire Sprinkler Designer

This position will be out of our Little Rock, Arkansas office   Fire Systems Technology, Inc., recently joined the Impact Fire Services team and is a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services.  Fire Systems Technology has been in business for over 22 years and provides fire protection services covering Arkansas, Southern Missouri, Southern Kansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. The company offers exceptional fire sprinkler installation, repairs, renovations, inspections, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for over 20 years.   You will be learning how to use the Autosprink VR programs that are used for fire sprinkler design.   JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy Draw systems in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible Learn and Run hydraulic calculations (Autosprink VR) Learn and Run then check stock listing for fabrication of new fire sprinkler systems (Autosprink VR) Request plans and information from General Contractors and Architects Build product data submittals   JOB REQUIREMENTS:   1 to 2 years design experience using Autosprink VR is required (see below) Proficiency in the use of Autosprink VR is required Must be able to follow directions Must be comfortable asking questions Must be able to read and understand blueprints Prior experience using Autosprink VR is a plus   Preferred background but not required:   Previous construction experience is a plus A degree in Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design would be an acceptable alternative to on-the-job design experience
