Director of Sales and Marketing Leadership Responsibilities The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading a capable, innovative marketing and sales team with a high level of collaboration and accountability. They will be required to set current and long-term goals for internal employees while building high-performing teams and ensuring effective coordination with other departments. Additionally, this person will train, coach, mentor, develop, lead and celebrate each individual on the marketing and sales teams in conjunction with HR and in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations. Responsibilities and Duties

Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans aligned with the organizations goals. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Lead, mentor, and manage sales and marketing teams to achieve performance goals. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and accountability. Other duties as assigned. Revenue Growth

Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement and growth. Drive lead generation and conversion strategies to expand the customer base. Marketing Operations

Oversee the development and execution of advertising, branding, and promotional campaigns. Optimize digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and social media. Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Address client feedback and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Budgeting and Reporting

Prepare and manage the departments budget to maximize ROI. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly Marketing budgets, and allocate resources appropriately. Participate in quarterly and annual planning of the companys objectives. Continuously learn and grow in the Marketing and Sales fields to bring new ideas and creative possibilities to the team. Education and Experience

Extensive experience in a similar role required Beauty industry experience, or similar, preferred Experience with e-commerce sales, wholesale sales, B to B, and B to C Extensive experience with social media advertising and marketing Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 8-10 years experience in sales and marketing; at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and implementing successful marketing campaigns. Any equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Requirements

Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, team members and leaders Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Able to travel to include international locations Must be able to move up to 25 pounds at a time Skills and Abilities

Strategic, innovative mindset with the ability to think critically utilizing reports, research and collaboration. Strong knowledge of marketing, including brand marketing, PR, content management, digital marketing & performance marketing. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a focus on selling techniques and how to negotiate professionally. Strong leadership skills to build, scale, and lead a high-performing marketing team. Highly observant and analytical with project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on brand awareness and sales. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
