Overview
Position title: Lecturer – Marketing, Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. This is a lecturer pool to teach Marketing courses if openings arise; the pool stays in place for one year. Salary range: The current full-time salary range is $68,247-$192,040. The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment; see the current scale table: https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2024-25/july-2024-scales/t15.pdf Percent time: Positions may range up to 33% time. Review timeline: The use of a lecturer pool does not guarantee an open position. Review dates are specified in AP Recruit. Applications are typically reviewed for summer session needs in April, fall needs in May, and spring needs in November. Open date: May 1, 2025. Most recent review date: Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time). Final date: Thursday, Apr 30, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time). Applications will continue to be accepted until this date; those received after the review date will be considered only if the position has not yet been filled. Basic qualifications (required at time of application):
The minimum qualification is a Bachelor Degree or equivalent international degree at time of application. Additional Qualifications (required at start):
A minimum of four years in the professional practice relevant to the course being taught. Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Marketing or related field at time of application. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Marketing in a business, government, or not-for-profit organization by start date. Higher education teaching experience and an advanced degree by start date are preferred. Application requirements
