The TurboTax Live Assisted team is looking for a Staff Product Designer who is passionate about helping solve our customer’s most complex financial situations. You’ll create experiences that help our Tax Pros deliver the service with confidence and ease. Create your vision and design experiences that are useful, usable and desirable. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable delivering in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with a strong ability to go deep into the details and step back and connect the dots for a more strategic perspective. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area: $179,500 - $243,000 Southern California: $173,000 - $234,000 This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Responsibilities

Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms. Masterful storyteller, able to influence a broad audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal leaders, partners and customers. Bring a bold vision and design strategy to life across multiple areas in the ecosystem, connecting dots across multiple strategies and initiatives to maximize impact. Turn visions into concepts and translate them into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite system complexity. Deliver User Experience visions, specifications, wireframes and prototypes. Use facilitative leadership to drive the best outcomes for multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization, inspiring collaboration and continuous improvement. Design components and patterns in collaboration with brand, product design teams, and business requirements. Assist in defining our company-wide design system for Generative AI and advocate for its adoption across teams. Facilitate strong cross-functional partnerships that bridge design and development and ensure cohesion between design and code implementation. Qualifications

Four-year degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree a plus. 7+ years of interface design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile, or award-winning products across multiple platforms. Expert knowledge of user-centered design processes with experience working with customers and cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, user research); seasoned in Agile development. Experience working on technically complex initiatives and the ability to marry user experiences with technical architecture. Deep knowledge of UX methods, ideation, prototyping, design systems, and design principles. Proven track record of setting a vision for great customer experiences and delivering products known for delightful experiences and ease of use. Strong facilitative leadership and collaborative relationship-building across teams to deliver results and drive continuous improvement. Organized, self-directed, efficient, and able to manage multiple complex projects in a timely manner. A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally.
