We are seeking a
Principal UX Designer
to join our User Experience and Human Factors team, focusing on innovative solutions for Pelvic Health. This role involves leading a team to develop next-generation platforms for neurostimulation systems, ensuring they are safe, effective, and user-centered. Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with UX, human factors, system, and software design teams to create user-centric products for neurostimulation implants and related applications. Manage project schedules, delegate tasks, and coordinate with management for resources and budgets. Facilitate design sessions, reviews, and collaborative meetings. Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and define user needs. Conduct user research, usability studies, and validate design safety and effectiveness. Identify potential use errors and recommend design improvements. Work closely with product and marketing teams to align on stakeholder needs. Develop standard operating procedures and maintain best practices. Engage with customers to understand their journey and incorporate insights into design. Apply human-centered design principles considering technology, platforms, and architecture. Collaborate across teams and industry to improve UX practices. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. 7+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Degree in design, user experience, or human factors. Experience with class III medical devices and hardware-software integrated products. Leadership experience in UX teams working on complex projects. Proficiency in Figma, Miro, and UX research platforms. Additional Details
