Warfare Systems (WS) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. Job Description / Context

HII Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the DoD and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. The COBRA initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control, including services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics. Responsibilities

Writes and/or edits business operations documents such as quality products, reports, performance documentation, and other quality and risk documentation. Writes and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate technical specifications and instructions to various audiences. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts. Conducts quality review of materials. Translates complex data into user-friendly text for print and electronic publications (e.g., technical journals, user/training manuals, Government proposals, websites, and podcasts). Gathers information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff. Develops cataloging systems; maintains records, files, and electronic media; and archives information for publications. Assists in preparing material for technical seminars and business forums. May assist in technical or business presentations in meetings as needed. Selects or recommends use of layouts, graphics, drawings, tables, exhibits, illustrations, charts, or storyboards to amplify or clarify publications objectives. Minimum Qualifications

10 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience. Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Effective oral and written communication abilities Preferred Requirements

Experience working in defense or intelligence environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Security+, PMP) The listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
