UI/UX Designer role at GE Vernova. As an experienced UI Designer with solid UX knowledge, you will be responsible for the design and development of the user interface for our internal platform and its associated applications. The energy transition and the digitization of automated protection and control functions are shaping software solutions for grid management. This role focuses on designing interfaces for platforms and applications that support grid modernization, with an emphasis on hardware- and OS-agnostic, and virtualization technologies. Essential Responsibilities
UI Design (UI): Define and design the overall look and feel of our platform and applications through a Design System (visual identity, UI components, structure/layout); ensure visual consistency across all applications in line with internal guidelines and best design practices. UX Design: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive interfaces; design user journeys that consider technical and functional constraints of the energy sector; create interactive mockups to illustrate proposed solutions. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of the design and a high-quality user experience; participate in reviews of deliverables and provide constructive feedback; incorporate user feedback and market trends to continuously improve interfaces. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI Designer, with solid UX knowledge Desired Characteristics
Experience in the energy sector Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Balsamiq Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and web/mobile constraints Ability to work on complex projects requiring visualization of technical data Creativity, attention to detail, and aesthetics Team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills Excellent English communication, both verbal and written Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: 88,600.00 - 118,000.00 USD Annual. This position may be eligible for a 10% variable incentive bonus. Posting closes on 9/17/25. Geographic differentials of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary may apply in certain areas.
