Overview
hoist. is seeking Architects / Architectural Designers to join our team, onsite, in either our Post Falls, Idaho or Garfield, WA offices. You will work closely with our design team to support colleagues and clients on a variety of projects across the western US. hoist. is a design practice that loves to make a lot out of a little. We are a generalist firm that strives to provide unmatched service and support to those who have placed their trust in us. We are a creative design office and pragmatic in our approach to work. We lean into our variety of experience to craft unique and sensible design solutions. Our current project list includes Single and Multi-family residential, Mixed Use, Restaurants, Retail / Commercial and Industrial buildings.
Responsibilities
Support the design team and clients on a variety of projects across the western US.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop design solutions from concept through documentation.
Contribute to project deliverables, coordination, and client communications as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with 3-5 years of experience
Proficient with Revit (or similar BIM software)
Proficient with Rendering Software (Twinmotion, Enscape or similar) and Adobe Suite
Strong design skills and desire to work on diverse projects
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
A self starter, dependable and willing to step in to support any task
Ability to multi-task and redirect as needed
Organizational and time management skills
