Head of E-Commerce Marketing - B2B / B2C role at Simplex. This is a hybrid role based in Dripping Springs, TX, that leans more towards being on-site. Our client is a booming E-Commerce company (B2B and B2C) with a vision to become the "Amazon" of their category and marketing is at the heart of how they'll get there. As the Senior eCommerce Marketing Leader, you will own and shape the company's marketing strategy across all platforms and channels, from performance marketing to branding, e-commerce experience to creative content. You will thrive as a hands-on leader who enjoys building, testing, scaling, and collaborating with entrepreneurial stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Lead and execute a comprehensive, growth-focused marketing strategy to drive revenue, customer acquisition, and brand recognition across digital and offline channels. Collaborate with the Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) and marketing team to shape and execute branding strategy, ensuring alignment across visual identity, tone, and photographic style for a cohesive brand presence. Maintain flexibility and adaptability to pivot strategy based on real-time data and changing business priorities. Manage internal marketing resources and external freelancers/agencies, balancing speed, quality, and return on investment. Own omnichannel marketing planning and execution, including paid search, paid social, SEO, email/SMS, retargeting, marketplaces, and affiliate programs. Oversee the e-commerce experience and partner on conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and UX/UI enhancements to drive performance. Apply a strong understanding of customer segmentation to support targeted marketing efforts and lifecycle strategies. Advise on marketing tech stack decisions, including automation, segmentation, and personalization tools that support scalable growth. Leverage data platforms and analytics to inform decision-making; monitor KPIs, attribution data, and customer insights to optimize spend and results. Provide clear and regular reporting to leadership on marketing performance, growth opportunities, and actionable insights. Demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to initiate, execute, and close out marketing initiatives effectively; work cross-functionally with e-commerce, customer success, finance, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with strategic initiatives and product launches. Lead and manage marketing budgets, ensuring investment efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. Qualifications

Leadership: Successfully led and scaled e-commerce marketing strategies that drove measurable growth in revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition across B2B and B2C channels; proven ability to build and manage high-performing marketing teams. Project and cross-functional leadership: Experience driving multiple projects across channels and departments; strong collaboration with sales, customer success, finance, and operations to execute launches, promotions, and lifecycle initiatives. Budget management: Ability to manage and optimize marketing budgets for ROI and strategic alignment. Technical & functional expertise: Led omnichannel campaigns (paid search, paid social, email/SMS, retargeting, SEO, affiliate, marketplaces) and optimized spend via data-driven iteration; hands-on CRO, landing page optimization, and UX improvements. Platform proficiency: Deep familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Adobe, Shopify, WooCommerce) and ability to guide cross-functional improvements with product and development teams. Analytics and tools: Proficient in marketing KPIs using Google Analytics (GA4), Klaviyo, Meta Ads, Google Ads; experience with marketing tech stacks and automation tools. Communication: Strong ability to influence executive stakeholders and align teams; comfortable navigating ambiguity with clarity and calm. Nice-to-Haves

Experience with subscription-based, replenishment, or bundling models focused on lifecycle and retention marketing. Exposure to regulated industries (chemicals, medical, lab supplies) and experience navigating compliance in messaging and advertising.
