For the latest news, visit news.samsung.com/us.**Role and Responsibilities****Overview**As part of the Corporate Communications Team, the Manager will support the Samsung US Newsroom, which serves as the central hub for Samsung Electronics America’s news, product announcements and corporate storytelling. This role involves managing the editorial calendar, overseeing content posting, reviewing and reporting on site analytics and collaborating with global, regional and local teams.The Manager will handle day-to-day operations, including overseeing content planning through a weekly editorial calendar developed in partnership with stakeholders across the organization to advance Samsung’s narrative. They will manage strategies to promote content across Samsung’s owned channels, such as Samsung apps and social media channels, aiming to increase traffic and improve readership and engagement with newsroom content. Additionally, they will track newsroom performance and measure success to ensure storytelling initiatives align with the company’s key performance indicators.**Responsibilities*** Manage incoming requests for content and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Public Relations and other local stakeholders, as well as the Samsung Global Newsroom team, to support posting and development of content, including press releases, articles, blog posts and videos* Maintain editorial calendar to ensure content is posted in a timely manner and adhering to company guidelines* Track and measure newsroom performance; Utilize analytics and translate metrics into recommended action plans for changes to improve the newsroom experience* Research and gather data to support newsroom initiatives; Organize and present data in a meaningful way that ties insights to overall business goals and objectives; Keep up-to-date with industry best practices* Manage amplification tactics to give newsroom content and overarching Samsung narratives maximum visibility, including coordination with CRM teams and managing owned Samsung apps and LinkedIn* Support newsroom functionality enhancement projects based on learnings from data-based analytics and improve UX of the site to further enhance the experience for its target audiences* Ensure newsroom adheres to brand guidelines, brand quality and consistency of tone, style and voice* Ensure the newsroom meets technical SEO requirements and provide recommendations on how to optimize content for search engines and AI chatbots**Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in a related field* 6+ years of experience, preferably working in Corporate Communications or a PR Agency* Expert knowledge of Wordpress CMS, Google Analytics, Tableau, SEO, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud* Analytical-minded, with a demonstrated ability to quantify the business impact of communications and campaigns* Global perspective and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from the Samsung Global Newsroom team in South Korea* Must maintain a high level of professionalism required as a representative of the company* Ability to work independently and an entrepreneurial spirit; strong decision making, problem solving project management skills* Must have excellent time management, organizational and project management skills* Must display good judgment and use discretion when presented with sensitive or confidential issues* Must thrive working in a fast-paced environment that focuses on high-quality results and flawless execution* Must have sharp eye for quality control and consistency in written and designed materials**Skills and Qualifications**Life @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/
