The Fremont Police Department is recruiting for the position of Police Communications Dispatcher.

Recruitment Process Apply: Applicants must attach a valid typing certificate. The certificate must include: Ability to type at least 45 net words per minute Issued within the last 12 months Administered by a professional with contact details provided For online tests, ID verification and virtual proctoring are required, meeting all above criteria Complete the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) Pass the CritiCall Exam: This step is waived if you have passing POST Entry-level Dispatcher or CritiCall scores within the last 12 months. Required scores include: POST T-Score of 51 or higher CritiCall scores, including Data Entry, Call Summarization, Cross Referencing, Memory Recall, Prioritization, Map Reading, Spelling, Sentence Clarity, and Reading Comprehension Attend the Oral Board Interview Participate in the Management Panel Interview Undergo a Polygraph Examination Complete a Background Check Attend the Executive Panel Interview Receive a Conditional Job Offer, pending Medical and Psychological evaluations Application Review Applications are reviewed weekly. This is an open, continuous recruitment. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately, as the recruitment may close without notice.
