Job Description
The Marketing Manager develops, coordinates, supports, and executes door sales and marketing campaigns. In this role the Marketing Manager will be constantly eliciting feedback from the marketing and sales department to improve the company's sales efforts and goals. This role will also support content strategy and creation across various mediums, such as print, videos, websites, social media and in-person events. This role involves understanding the brand's voice, ensuring that all content aligns with the brand's identity and messaging while maintaining consistency with the local target audience. This position is responsible for deployment and daily management of marketing and sales projects across all locations.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure Local SEO Optimization results in improved business rankings in local search results.
- Responsible for Google Business Profile management including creating, maintaining, optimizing profiles and analyzing results.
- Digital listing management including creating, monitoring, and updating our presence across various platforms like Yelp, NextDoor, Angi’s List, Yellow Pages, BBB, Chambers of Commerce.
- Keeping abreast of the latest local search algorithm updates and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.
- Developing and executing comprehensive local marketing strategies and community tactics to generate leads, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
- Conducting research on markets and local competitors to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Performance tracking and reporting including monitoring key metrics (e.g., website traffic, leads generated, conversions) and providing regular reports to assess the effectiveness of local search marketing efforts.
- Local marketing strategy and execution, enhancing brand recognition, consistency, production and performance working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizations to boost brand visibility and drive leads.
- Build and execute local media plans for multiple brands and regions across the company.
- Hold one-on-one communications with Local Field Managers and Sales team across multiple brands and develop relationships across departments to gain support and trust.
- Work with leadership on innovative new ideas and strategies to improve local level brand awareness, and increased sales.
- Work closely across departments to ensure all parties have appropriate information on marketing promotions, new doors sales, events and other plans.
- Assist in developing and implementing the company’s marketing, sales and promotional strategy.
- Contribute to the Marketing’s special projects as requested and other duties as assigned.
- Experience in utilizing social media to create brand awareness, engage clients, and facilitate public relations and awareness.
- Monitor online accounts, update store hours and simple data on (Google My Business, Yelp, Facebook, etc.)
Education, Experience, Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or relevant field.
- Proven 3+ years’ experience in local SEO techniques and best practices.
- Proficient in managing and optimizing Google Business Profile listings effectively.
- Expertise in SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, WhiteSpark and Yext.
- Proficient with tools like Canva, Excel, and website platforms like Wordpress.
- Strong ability to track, analyze, report, and optimize local search marketing performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, dedicated to follow through, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, and focused on measurable results.
- Experience in field marketing, events, partnerships, or B2B demand generation, with a strong background in pipeline acceleration, a plus.
- Experience with Power BI and Service Titan a plus.
