What You'll Do:

As a Mechanical Designer, you'll collaborate closely with project engineers and senior designers to create precise, high-quality design documents. You'll work from sketches, marked-up drawings, and vendor data to bring complex systems to life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed design documents using AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or SolidWorks.
• Following established drafting standards and leveraging past project references.
• Supporting the development of structural unitized systems for D&I processes.
• Performing quality checks on drawings and assisting with document preparation for bids.
• Occasionally visiting our fabrication facility in Red Bud, IL for coordination and material tagging/shipping.

What You Bring:

• Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Drafting (required).
• 6+ years of mechanical drafting/design experience (strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools like Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret engineering sketches and notes.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).
