We are seeking a Senior Advisor on a contract basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time leadership role if there is mutual interest and alignment. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned communications professional to shape strategy, drive impactful media coverage, and provide high-level counsel to a diverse set of clients. While some familiarity with crypto and emerging technology is required, this role will support both crypto and non-crypto accounts, with an emphasis on client management, media relations excellence, and strategic storytelling. Responsibilities Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, guiding communications strategy, reputation management, and thought leadership initiatives. Lead media relations efforts including strategy development, reporter outreach, and placement of high-impact stories across top-tier outlets. Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts, supporting account teams in client management and communications planning. Oversee proactive and reactive communications initiatives, including major announcements, executive visibility programs, and crisis response. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality client deliverables, from press materials to strategic messaging frameworks. Mentor and support junior colleagues, helping build team capacity and strengthen client service capabilities. Identify growth opportunities for the firm and contribute to overall business development efforts. Desired Experience & Skills 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or strategic consulting, ideally with both agency and in-house perspectives. Proven success in media relations, with strong press relationships and a track record of securing high-profile coverage. Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, including press materials, op-eds, and executive communications. Experience advising on reputation management and crisis communications is highly desirable. Familiarity with the crypto industry is required; the ability to quickly learn and synthesize complex technologies and concepts is essential. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic client environments. Engagement Details Contract role with highly competitive compensation.
