As a Senior Graphic Designer at The Helper Bees, you will collaborate with the Marketing team and other company stakeholders, taking complex concepts and distilling them into clear visuals. You will play a key role in producing high-quality creative deliverables, mentoring junior designers on the team, and supporting presentations to both internal and external stakeholders. This role supports the Creative Director to ensure all work reflects the company's brand vision and standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering skill development and creative growth. Support the implementation of established brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing materials and channels. Execute a wide range of design deliverables, including digital ads, brochures, presentations, social media graphics, and website assets. Apply strong layout design expertise to produce polished, effective, and visually engaging collateral. Distill complex concepts into clear, compelling, and easily digestible visual assets. Present design concepts and drafts to internal stakeholders and external clients, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) to support creative direction and bring campaigns and initiatives to life. Contribute to UI/UX design efforts in partnership with the product team, ensuring intuitive and seamless user experiences. Assist in creating client-facing materials that effectively communicate product benefits and value propositions. Stay current with design trends and best practices, introducing fresh ideas and approaches to elevate creative output. Support production needs and, when possible, contribute to project scoping and planning to ensure efficiency and quality of execution. Performance Metrics:

Project Completion:

Track the percentage of projects completed on time and within scope, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives. Rounds of Revisions : Monitor the average number of revision rounds per project to gauge the effectiveness of implementing feedback while maintaining project efficiency. Overall Performance Monitoring : Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the multimedia designer's creative solutions in addressing project objectives or challenges. This can include feedback from stakeholders or subjective assessments of creativity and innovation. Collaboration and Impact:

Evaluate the designer's effectiveness in collaborating with team members, demonstrating strong communication skills, teamwork, conflict resolution abilities, and impact in inspiring, motivating, and guiding team members toward achieving project goals and objectives.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of design fundamentals and best practices for layout design, print, and digital (social and web). Proven ability to present and pitch design concepts clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders and external clients. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. Experience applying and extending established brand guidelines and design systems across a variety of deliverables. Ability to prepare files for both digital and print production, including collaboration with vendors or developers as needed. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience supporting marketing, product, and sales initiatives. Ability to incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently while maintaining design integrity. Excellent time and project management skills; able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented; holds personal and team work to a high creative standard. Proficiency with motion graphics and light video editing (e.g., animated gifs, short clips, social media content), a plus. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field preferred Minimum of 8 years years of experience in graphic design with a portfolio that demonstrates layout design expertise and presentation-ready work. Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain at your designated workstation for the duration of the workday Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a phone and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The ability to observe details at close range (typically on a computer screen) This position is a hybrid role and will require the candidate to be in The Helper Bees physical office multiple times each week, and during special events as needed. During remote work days, this position offers the flexibility of remote work at approved locations within the United States. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a designated work environment conducive to professional phone calls and sensitive data. Enjoy the convenience and comfort of working remotely while contributing to our team's success. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
