Overview We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized Brand & Advertising Activation Manager to lead the execution of our mid-funnel brand and product advertising campaigns and evolve how we support financial advisors with local advertising. This role sits at the heart of how we bring our brand to life through seamless execution, advisor enablement and partnership across teams. Working closely with our Brand & Sponsorship Strategy team, you'll focus on tactical campaign delivery, mid-funnel planning and coordination, and advisor-led activation. You'll also lead the day-to-day operations of our local advertising program - helping our advisors engage their communities through compliant, high-impact marketing. This is great for someone who thrives in execution, loves building scalable programs and has strong attention to detail.
What will you do? Manage the execution of paid advertising campaigns, supporting creative and media activation across mid-funnel touchpoints
Partner with Brand & Sponsorship Manager and agencies to ensure consistent, on-time, and on-brand campaign delivery
Responsible for leading internal coordination across Legal, Compliance, Field Marketing, Product Marketing and Creative to activate media and sponsorships campaigns
Manage an Advertising & Sponsorship Coordinator responsible for trafficking, reporting, and day-to-day operations across advertising and sponsorship needs
Own and evolve the advisor advertising program, enabling advisors to market locally while maintaining brand and regulatory standards
Develop toolkits, templates, and training to support scalable advisor-led advertising
Support campaign reporting and optimization recommendations in partnership with analytics and agency teams
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Four-year degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
Minimum of seven years digital marketing experience, with focus on digital advertising
Demonstrated experience developing digital marketing strategies and programs across an enterprise
Experience working directly with financial advisors and an organization's sales force
Proven dedication to and focus on client service and satisfaction
Exceptional project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct, motivate and persuade clients, including proven presentation development and delivery skills
Excellent writing and editing skills
Self-starter who can make decisions independently
Third-party vendor and agency relationship management
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and content management tools. Ability to learn new systems quickly and independently
Nice-to-have
MBA or equivalent experience
Seven years of marketing financial services, including retail and business to business distribution systems
Experience in digital marketing including social media campaign planning, SEO, SEM and paid digital advertising
Experience in digital platforms and tools (ex: Yext, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, and Seismic)
Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Google Data Studio
Sprinklr, Facebook (ad manager)
In-depth knowledge of financial products and services with demonstrated experience leading large projects and/or strategic marketing initiatives

Salary : The expected salary range for this position is $85,000-$125,000, depending on experience, skills, and market conditions.
Compensation : You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
