Infosys is seeking a UX Designer. In this role, you will be a technology professional contributing to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create design artifacts and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. You will collaborate with a team to deliver innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions to meet clients’ business needs. Responsibilities Create detailed design artifacts such as program specifications and test plans. Independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs. Participate in a learning culture with emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and excellence. Required Qualifications Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or Princeton, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. Travel to project locations may be required. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be substituted for every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. At least 4 years of experience with Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite. Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Preferred Qualifications Deliver key documentation, including mockups and prototypes, to guide developers. Conduct user experience research (qualitative and quantitative) to inform design decisions. Review user feedback, identify areas for improvement, and perform usability tests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction. Strong communication and collaboration skills; problem-solving with a user-centric mindset. Proficiency in design thinking and interaction design principles. Strong portfolio of design projects and understanding of storage use cases; ability to design for storage domain. Ability to communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers; explore creative UX problem solving (usability, findability). Participate in daily work planning; work with design, engineering, and project management in an agile fashion. Identify and diagnose issues, report bugs, and track feature progress, user stories, and defects. At least 4 years of experience producing low/high-fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes, with fluency in tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch, and InVision (or comparable). Deliver low and high-fidelity mockups of pixel-perfect quality. At least 2 years of experience creating personas, storyboards, and empathy maps for assigned stories. At least 2 years of experience creating icons, fonts, posters/flyers, and templates for products/teams/sites. Deliver design ideations following business and user interviews, building personas, user flows, information architecture, and hosting ideation workshops for stakeholders and customers. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
