Summary/objective:

As a Digital Ad Buyer, you will collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to develop highly effective digital advertising strategies. Your responsibilities will include setting up digital advertising campaigns, crafting compelling ad copy and visual assets, and optimizing campaign performance based on data-driven insights. By conducting market research and analyzing key metrics, you will identify emerging trends and opportunities within the digital advertising landscape. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide detailed reports will be crucial in driving informed decision-making and fostering long-term success.

Essential functions

  • Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of their advertising objectives and develop highly effective digital advertising strategies.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to identify target demographics and create tailored campaigns.
  • Set up digital advertising campaigns on various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Craft compelling ad copy, create captivating visual assets, and design engaging landing pages that captivate audiences and drive substantial engagement, conversion rates, and ultimately, business growth.
  • Implement tracking mechanisms, such as pixels and UTM parameters, to meticulously measure campaign effectiveness, gather invaluable data for insightful analysis, and uncover actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and success.
  • Analyze key campaign metrics, including click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS), to derive meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions that optimize performance and achieve predetermined campaign goals.
  • Identify emerging trends, patterns, and untapped opportunities within the digital advertising landscape, enabling agile campaign optimization and the implementation of innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting parameters to improve campaign performance.
  • Optimize campaign settings, bidding strategies, and targeting options, leveraging advanced techniques and data-driven insights to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve the highest levels of campaign success.
  • Prepare detailed and insightful reports on campaign performance, providing clients and internal stakeholders with comprehensive information, actionable recommendations, and valuable insights that drive informed decision-making and foster long-term success.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and manage expectations.
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, (other ad platforms are a plus.)

Required education and experience

  • Proven experience as a Digital Ad Buyer or similar role, with a track record of successful campaign management.
  • 5+ Yrs. managing campaigns on Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon, Twitter/X, Pinterest, Microsoft, or Snapchat
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

Preferred education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Amazon Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic advertising platforms.
  • Marketing engineering experience a plus.
