What You'll Be Doing
The Associate Creative Art Director provides design leadership and art direction for the in-house agency. Working with a copywriter to develop verbal concepts, the ACD develops visual concepts in response to a creative brief. The ACD should have a working knowledge of clients’ business challenges and help develop creative strategies and lead conceptual development.
- Lead in directing and executing the design of creative assets as outlined in creative briefs.
- Provide creative direction on small- and large-scale projects from concept to completion.
- Brainstorm and plan with the creative team to develop direction with a focus on the look and feel of video-based digital work.
- Translate rough ideas into visual prototypes to illustrate concepts for reviews.
- Recommend, research and develop imagery to support creative strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to build solutions addressing project objectives.
- Direct final development and production of creative assets ensuring accuracy, consistency, and creative excellence.
- Ensure brand guidelines are embraced and adhered to in all executions.
- Support the creative director’s objectives in developing strategies and concepts.
- Improve the integrated team’s performance and foster collaboration.
- Support leadership and help build a unified team mindset.
What We're Looking For
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Portfolio demonstrating range in thinking and execution.
- On-set lifestyle and product art direction experience.
- Motion and video-based experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- BFA or MFA in design or advertising.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to describe visual concepts clearly.
- Experience crafting image-based and typographic solutions.
- Experience building iconic brands and pushing brand boundaries.
- Flexibility with changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
- Respect for overall direction and attention to detail.
- Strong time and project management to ensure work is on time and on budget.
- Advertising or design agency experience, external or in-house.

Work Arrangement
In this hybrid role, you will have a defined work location with a mix of remote and in-office days, as determined by your manager. You are responsible for complying with hybrid work policies.
