Floor & Decor, Atlanta, GA, United States, 30383
Overview
Join to apply for the CRM Segmentation & Audience Manager role at Floor & Decor.
At Floor & Decor, we’re transforming spaces and careers across the country. The most exciting thing we’re building isn’t just floors—it’s a company without ceilings where dreamers, thinkers, and doers shape our future. With over 250 stores and counting, this is where ambition meets opportunity. Are you looking for new challenges? Let's build what's next.
Your Work Matters
As the Audience Manager, you will lead the charge in defining and activating who our customers are—where they come from, what they respond to, and how to reach them so their experience feels both personal and seamless. You’ll build segmentation strategies that influence acquisition, retention, and loyalty, making a real difference in the bottom line by ensuring every touchpoint, every message, every campaign feels relevant—and that it moves the business forward.
Your Day Consists Of
- Designing, building, and launching customer & market segmentation plans—from research, modeling, and insight through to execution and measurement.
- Owning the flow: liaising with tech, data science, analytics, marketing, creative, and regional teams to ensure our segmentation strategy is fully leveraged and translated into action.
- Translating first‑party data (CRM, behavior, predictive models) and third‑party sources into insights that drive improvements in acquisition, conversion, and retention across all channels.
- Presenting and persuading: you’ll lead internal discussions and present findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences (creative, marketing, operations, leadership).
- Managing research efforts—from large, formal studies (brand tracking, customer satisfaction) to quick internal surveys—to keep our understanding sharp, timely, and actionable.
- Working in close partnership with agencies, media teams, and analytics to test, optimize, and iterate segmentation models and targeting approaches.
You’ll Be Supported With
- Programs like 401K with discretionary company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and Referral Bonus Program
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and other Insurance Plans (subject to eligibility criteria)
- Work-life balance, including
- Paid vacation and sick time for eligible associates
- Paid holidays plus a personal holiday
- Paid Volunteer Time Off that starts on Day 1
You’ll Be Successful With
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience leading segmentation strategy, technology, research, or equivalent experience combining technical and strategic ownership.
- Deep familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), CDPs (such as Tealium), marketing tech/ad tech ecosystems; you know how to use data pipelines, first‑party/third‑party data, and insights to personalize and target.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate: you can persuade both technical partners (data, analytics, IT) and creative/marketing teams to adopt your recommendations and drive toward shared goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; you can simplify complexity and make segmentation insights actionable.
- Comfort in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines, and a “no finish line” mindset.
- A mindset of ownership, continuous improvement, and measurement—someone who treats customer experience and relevance as lived metrics, not just ideas.
Work Environment / Physical Expectations
- Minimal travel required, which may occasionally involve air or car transportation for meetings or site visits.
- Primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting, though occasional walking, standing, or light physical activity (lifting up to 20 lbs) may be needed.
- Work is typically performed in a quiet to moderate office setting, with occasional exposure to active warehouse environments and moving equipment.
