Overview

We seek a full-time Audio Visual Operations Supervisor to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

The compensation for this Audio Visual Operations Supervisor Role is $25-27/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that the AV equipment needed is in our inventory before the event.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully operational, and repair/clean when necessary.
  • Demonstrated advanced technical knowledge of programming, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and software.
  • Label broken equipment.
  • Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order/Flow Sheets.
  • Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets.
  • Break down, remove, and secure equipment.
  • Perform daily floor management, including directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
  • Understand acoustics and sound amplification to support temporary and permanent equipment solutions for events and daily operations.
  • Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding the proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
  • Upsell AV services.
  • Monitor equipment operation.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Other tasks as requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
  • Knowledge of technical theory.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading workflow and team members. Must have great organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and prioritization.
