The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online PRAXIS Music tutors nationally. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have flexibility in scheduling and compensation, with the potential to impact students’ learning journeys from home.

Compensation and Schedule

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• We handle the logistics—you invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PRAXIS Music and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
