Assists with activities of daily living, vitals, maintaining medical records/charts, assisting with nutrition and activity implementation. **What you will do** * Assists participants with activities of daily living, to include toileting, feeding, ambulation transfer and mobility.* Provides assistance with both groups and individuals in social/recreational activities and encourages participations throughout the day. Contributes ideas to the monthly activity calendar.* Documents on Medicaid daily logs, participant progress notes and other required documentation. This includes staff daily reports, activity logs, incident reports, medication verification/administration and communication book entries.* Monitor's client's diets and special dietary needs. Assists with both meal and snack preparation, serving and clean-up.* Inventories and maintains equipment and supplies. Advises when items are needed to ensure adequate supply to meet operational needs.* Maintains records of blood pressure, weights, meal temps, refrigerator temps, etc. as assigned. **Qualifications** **Experience** * Experience working with older or impaired adults (Preferred) **Licenses and Certifications** * Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)* CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)* First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 60 Days(Required)To learn more about being a team member with Riverside Health System visit us at .If loving your work is important to you, consider a career at Riverside.
