Overview
Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG), is one of gaming's most prominent and growing entertainment marketing agencies, specializing in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources to create, market, and distribute gaming content for a diverse client portfolio of top game developers and major brands. We are seeking a motivated Sr. Producer to lead the creation of immersive gameplay trailers that excite gamers worldwide. This role leads internal production, vendor management, and client services, and flexes as needed to get the job done. This position requires on-site/in-office work in Woodland Hills, California.
What you will do
- Serve as primary contact with the client for their business needs at DBC.
- Oversee the overall output of the team and successful completion of the project.
- Lead a team through a nebulous project assignment while maintaining composure and professionalism to reach goals.
- Develop autonomous plans and resource requirements for new or previously unassigned projects.
- Manage overall business operations and project management of the account.
- Produce budgets/estimates and schedules as needed.
- Ensure work is done to the highest level of quality, on time and within budget.
- Lead cross-functional work streams and vendor management.
- Innovate and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to team members.
- Ensure the team's output meets quality standards, including resolution, frame rate, legal requirements, and audio quality.
- Assist in developing content strategies and schedules for game capture.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to game capture, editorial, motion graphics, sound, and finishing.
- Communicate effectively to align project timelines and goals.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, schedules, milestones, and issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, gaming developments, and upcoming releases.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by management as needed to support team and project goals.
What you will need
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film, multimedia production, or communications) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in video game marketing and familiarity with Game Capture.
- Strong knowledge of sports, particularly NFL, College Football, and English Premier League.
- Experience managing teams and using project management tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Slack, Airtable.
- Strong passion for video games and understanding of gaming culture.
- Proficiency with video game and digital asset specifications and nomenclature.
- Video and photo editing skills are a plus (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Compensation
Please note that compensation is payable via day rate (not hourly). All freelance work is paid via W-2 payroll at Trailer Park Group. The daily rate for this position is $400—$425 USD.
