Overview

We are looking for a bold, high-ownership problem-solver who wants to build something new and be at the forefront of change in parenting guidance and community. This role focuses on producing content and video across formats while shaping ideas and formats that feel like Good Inside.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an emotionally intelligent, multi-hyphenate Producer of Content and Video Production to help take Dr. Becky’s voice and ideas and supercharge them across formats: podcasts, workshops, shortform video, sizzles, trailers, and social-native content. This is not just a camera-and-editing role. You’ll manage and execute production from pre to post, help shape ideas, push creative, and build repeatable formats that align with Good Inside. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, can toggle between studio setups and voiceover pickups, and want to amplify a powerful voice in culture, this is for you. This role is hybrid in Manhattan and requires 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Own recording sessions from start to finish; coordinate with Content Ops & Production Associate (prep, scheduling, tech setup, postproduction)
• Coordinate remote and in-studio guest recording
• Edit audio for pacing, clarity, and sound design; deliver polished final cuts for publishing
• Create trailers, sizzle reels and audiograms from episodes
• Partner with Content Operations and the Production Associate to collaborate with the Sponsorship team on ad recording needs, ensuring accurate integration and timely delivery
• Manage and execute short- and long-form video shoots (interviews, branded content, team content) in coordination with Content Operations & Production team
• Serve as primary camera operator during filming; ensure content is on brand, on message, and emotionally engaging
• Edit video content for clarity, pacing, and tone — optimizing for brand standards
• Integrate motion graphics, subtitles, light VFX as needed
• Deliver final formats across multiple aspect ratios and platforms (16:9, 1:1, 9:16)
• Maintain organized media asset workflows, including file naming conventions, version control, backups, and archiving

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years experience as a Producer / Shooter / Editor in a content-forward media or entertainment environment
• Proven ability to self-operate cameras (Sony FX, Canon Cinema, DSLR, etc.) and use audio lavalier mic setups confidently
• Expert in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
• Experience producing podcasts or long-form audio content
• A sharp eye for detail and an instinct for storytelling pacing, especially for digital platforms
• Passion for mission-driven storytelling with emotional intelligence and humor, with an eye for cultural relevance
