Job Description

UFIT Web Service is in the Center for Instructional Technology & Training (CITT), a unit of Academic Technology. We are seeking an entry level Web Developer to contribute to the success of our team. Able to build and apply industry standards to design visually appealing web sites using HTML and CSS, apply web coding standards, knowledge of web accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers in a web content management system such as TERMINALFOUR or WordPress
• Collaborate with peers to develop and implement user driven web accessible templates and interfaces for ease of use.

Salary: $53,000 - $55,000 commensurate based on education and experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization or an associate degree and two years of experience.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of web content management systems such as WordPress Multisite
• Applies Web base technologies
• Knowledgeable of web trends and direction
• A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an associate’s degree and four years of appropriate experience
