Job Summary

We’re seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Full Stack Web Developer and IT Support Specialist to help enhance and maintain our digital platforms. In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for developing robust web applications, managing SQL Server databases, and administering IIS and related infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Web Development & Application Support

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications using VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Maintain and enhance existing in-house web applications and tools, addressing bugs, feature requests, and performance improvements.
• Gather requirements and deliver intuitive, well-tested solutions for internal staff and end users.

Database & Data Integrity

• Query and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Identify, clean, and correct invalid data in logs or tables.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures for performance and accuracy.

Systems & Infrastructure

• Manage and configure IIS web servers, including deployments, bindings, and troubleshooting.
• Use tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Cloudflare to manage builds, versioning, and performance.
• Coordinate with IT and DevOps teams as needed to ensure security, uptime, and scalability.

Collaboration & Culture

• Work closely with other developers, IT, and support staff on projects and bug resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in .NET programming – VB.NET preferred.
• Strong front-end skills in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL for queries, data cleanup, and optimization.
• Experience with IIS, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps for source control.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare, Active Directory/LDAP, and basic web security practices.
• Experience working with third-party API integrations, including RESTful APIs and external web services.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus but not required. Equivalent experience and demonstrated skills are equally valued.
• 3+ years in a full stack web development role.
• Experience in a Windows server environment.
• Exposure to AI integration or LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs, embedding models, or workflow automation using AI tools).
• Background in publishing or content-heavy web platforms is a plus.
