The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online ACT Writing tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—as available from home.

Join Varsity Tutors as a 1-on-1 online tutor. The platform offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and remote teaching opportunities with access to an AI-powered Tutor Copilot and streamlined payments.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver online ACT Writing tutoring to students via the Live Learning Platform.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Earn base rates starting at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects and for repeated sessions with the same student (up to $40/hour).
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and enhance teaching impact.
• Handle tutoring logistics—invoice for sessions and receive payments processed by Varsity Tutors.
• Be matched with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in ACT Writing with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are highly valued.
