Job description
Lead proposal efforts, for architectural pursuits, including attending site walkthroughs, assembling Statement of Qualification responses for RFPs and RFQs and updating proposal research notes for local, state, and federal clients. Coordinate the full proposal process: schedule and lead kickoff/review meetings, set timelines, track deadlines, organize external vendors/consultants and coordinate team inputs. Write, edit, and organize content—project descriptions, resumes, technical narratives, and executive summaries. Collaborate with architectural and engineering staff to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling, client-focused messaging. Working with a graphic designer develop and maintain marketing collateral such as project sheets, staff bios, and boilerplate content. Support business development activities, including events, award submissions, and digital content coordination. Qualifications
US work authorization (Required) Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field (Required). Experience
2–5 years of experience developing proposals for architecture or civil engineering firm preferred. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, especially for technical and client-focused narratives. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams). Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
