Overview We are seeking a graphic designer with proactive skills to assist with social design projects as well as larger campaign projects for our growing social team.

As a graphic designer, you will play an important role in assisting our social team with the creation of compelling marketing materials. You will be interacting with cross-Microsoft groups to ensure alignment and timely high-quality delivery of quick turn assets.

Responsibilities

Create high resolution marketing/social assets based on input from Art Director and Creative Director.

Brainstorm new ideas daily to match concepts and creative direction.

Work closely with the Social Producers & Creative Lead to assist with the production of social asset creation for video, print concept, marketing campaign, and internal social communication assets.

Take initial direction from Social Director, Social Strategist, Motion Designer & Producer for all design tasks and project reviews.

Complete projects with little guidance after initial direction via organizational and time management skills.

Contribute to the creative process by proactively involving yourself with all aspects of social asset development from brainstorming, concept expansion, sketching ideas, storyboarding, draft assets, review, and delivery of final print-ready assets.

Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

4 years of creative experience designing and editing social assets or related industry experiences.

Heavy focus on ideation and brainstorming with strong executional design skills.

Outstanding type and layout skills with attention to details such as balance, kerning, visual hierarchy, and color sensibilities.

Ability to design in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as PowerPoint, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Detail-oriented design skills with clear, concise, and specific follow-through on all action items resulting from meetings and/or directions from the studio producers, creative directors, and art directors.

Having your own ideas and perspectives, and the ability to take direction well.

Ability to quickly come up to speed with new social projects and work well under short notice project requests.

Ability to balance multiple projects with short deadlines, with strong interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills and a track record of building win-win relationships with creative teams, technical staff, and Producers.

A high level of enthusiasm, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and drive for results in a fast-paced space; a positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.
